Instapaper – great for storing articles you want to read later. Nice archiving function. *****
Toodledo – a workable task organizer .
Pandora – likely on most everyone’s favorite list.
SpeedTest – is the connection slow, or is it just me? Find out.
Dropbox – makes file transfer easy.
Runkeeper – logs your cycling, running etc. Great mapping feature.
Flipboard – social media reader, magazine reader – superb *****
Zite – build personalized magazines by topic – brilliant *****
Pulse – another magazine reader – worth a looksee.
Evernote – easy cross-platform note app. I have just started to explore. *****
Weatherbug – my favorite weather app.
Tectonic – when you live where to tectonic plates meet as I do, this is fascinating.
Planets – see the night sky and know what you are seeing.
Free WIFI – Not perfect, but a good start – find free WIFI
Netlix – nothing more needs to be said.
TED – Amazing videos. A must. *****
Remote – Love having the iPad manage my hifi
Kindle – goodbye paper
